Trashformations 2008 Sculpture Contest Saratoga School Winners
Students worked in teams or individually to create a sculpture using as many different recyclable items as possible. Sculptures could be representative or abstract. Sculptures had to be no taller than 3 feet and no wider in any direction than 2 feet. Points were awarded for originality, creativity, aesthetics, shape, color, and the number of different recyclables. Third and fourth grade students participated in the contest this year. First, second and third place winners were selected for each division - team or individual and each category - grades 2-3 and grades 4-6. First place winners will be entered in the county competition of which 10 different schools county wide are participating this year. The first place winners from the county
