Mr. Farmer retired as principal at the end or the 2007-2008 school year after 34 years of service. He taught 4th grade and Junior High Science before becoming the principal. Mr. Farmer also coached many of the extracurricular sports such as baseball and basketball. Click here if you would like to view Mr. Farmer's farewell from the students at Saratoga. Mrs. Baron retired as an aide in the CHOICES program at the end of the 2007-2008 school year.
Mrs. Williams retired from teaching at the end of the 2006-2007 school year. She loved teaching first grade and watching her students learn to read. Mrs. William's never got tired of teaching and she will always be remembered by her heartwarming smile. Thank you, Charlene, for all that you have done for Saratoga. Happy Traveling!!!

Mrs. Kneller retired at the end of the 2005-2006 school year. She had many duties which included being a bus driver, lunchroom lady and janitor. Mrs. Kneller had been employed at Saratoga since 1977. Thank you, Bev, for all the years of your dedicated services.

Mr. Hermann retired at the end of the 2003-2004 school year. He had spent 11 years as the Superintendent of Saratoga School. Prior to coming to Saratoga, he spent 25 years at the Wallace School District in Ottawa. Thank you for your years of service to the Saratoga community. We wish you the best in your retirement!

Mrs. Sutter was a resource teacher for the elementary grades. She enjoyed flying and spending time with her family when she was not at Saratoga. Mrs. Sutter had also been a nurse during her life before Saratoga. She retired at the end of the 2003-2004 school year. Thank you Mrs. Sutter for being part of our Saratoga family.

Mrs. Chord earned her degree from Northern Illinois University. She chose to teach at Saratoga because of the cooperation of the teachers and other staff. Her favorite part of teaching was the students. She enjoyed teaching first grade because the kids were honest and excited about school. Mrs. Chord retired in the 2002 - 2003 school year. Thank you, Mrs. Chord, for positively influencing so many children and staff members at Saratoga!

Mrs. Harr was the school nurse and transportation director. Buses and Band-Aids took up most of her day. She had been employed at Saratoga since 1973. Her children attended Saratoga and now some of her grandchildren. Mrs. Harr loves to read and play cards in her spare time. Her all time favorite book is Little Women by Louisa Mae Alcott. She retired from the Saratoga in October 2002. Thank you Mrs. Harr for being you!
