Red Ribbon Week

This year, Saratoga celebrated Red Ribbon Week (October 22 - October 25) with some fun activities for the students. The Saratoga Student Council had organized various events for each day of the week.

Mrs. Eber's Class
"If You're Drug Free, You Can Hang With Me!" The door shows bats hanging upside down.

Mrs. Laudeman's Class
"We're Fishin' For Better Things To Do Than Drugs!" The door shows fish and fishing line with bait.
Miss Crismon's Class
"Don't Bug Us About Drugs!"
The door shows several spiders.

Monday, October 22 was the first day for Red Ribbon Week. The "Legacy of Red Ribbon Week" was read over the intercom. Red ribbons were passed out to each student for contest purposes and students were asked to wear their pajamas to school.

Tuesday was "Spirit Day " - On this day the students wore either Saratoga clothing or Saratoga colors.

Wednesday was "Crazy Hair Day ". - On this day students were encouraged to wear a different hairdo.

Thursday was "Wear Red for Red Ribbon Week" - On this day students were asked to wear a red. A winner was also chosen for the classroom with the door that is best decorated. There were winners from K-2, 3-5, 6-8. Each winner received a special prize (Pizza Party).
