This fall the Saratoga School Library implemented the Alexandria Library Automation System which started in 1988. This library system is used in thousands of libraries world wide; it is continually updated with the newest features available.
Library is easy! The librarian’s job is much easier now; it is a simple zap-zap. The student’s individual barcode label is zapped . Then the books’ barcode labels are zapped. New book processing and library management-----is EASIER!
It is also convenient to search our library resources. On any computer in the school, students and teachers can search for books.
Searching can be very simple or complex. Alexandria allows for different abilities and skill levels. Below are links to pdf files that show the books that are available to the Saratoga students.
