Seventh Grade Technology Curriculum

Seventh grade is a time of increased responsibility and independence. Students build on previously taught concepts and expand learning through new concepts.

Technical Awareness/Fundamentals

Save and retrieve work in student work files

Demonstrate independent computer and printer use

Demonstrate knowledge of basic computer terminology

Demonstrate word processing skills

Demonstrate the ability to locate information on the internet

Demonstrates the ability to operate a CD-ROM

Demonstrate the ability to edit documents (cut, paste, copy, spell check)

Demonstrate the ability to create a slide show using AppleWorks

Demonstrate the ability to create a Power Point Presentation

 

Instructional Application of Technology

Participate in a cooperative environment for learning

Utilize computers to improve keyboarding skills

 

Interact with a variety of software
