Eighth grade students was asked to draw a candy jar which was copied 4 times. Then they were given a variety of artists to choose from and asked to emulate their style, a different artist for each candy jar. Students were asked to use the artist's style, color preferences and to differentiate between the jar, the wall and the table by color placement, and design.
