Seventh grade students in Mrs. Bardash’s Language Arts class began the year by giving “Paper Bag Speeches” as a way to get to know each other.  Students decorated a paper sack to reflect their interests and then eight items were put in their bag to represent them.  Students then presented the information in a speech format.  Many students went “above and beyond” with their bag creations.  One student even had her bag light up when a button was pushed.
