In third grade, the students made glyphs.
By making and designing reindeer, the children can tell the observer
about themselves. The number of prongs on the antlers tells the
student's age. Eyes looking right means "I love to read". Eyes
looking left means "I like to read". Eyes looking straight ahead
means "I do not like to read". A bell on the neck means they are
going away for the holidays. A bow on the neck means they are not
going away for the holidays.
A
green
nose is for a boy. A
red
nose is for a girl. A tail pointing up
means winter is their favorite season. A tail pointing down means
spring is their favorite season. A tail pointing to the right means
summer is their favorite season. A tail pointing to the left means
fall is their favorite season. One bent leg means they are the
youngest child. Two bent legs means they are the oldest child. Three
bent legs means they are the middle child. Four bent legs means they
are the only child.
